Cuts of Meat - Part Three - Try Fish!

The past few weeks we’ve talked about the healthier cuts of beef and chicken but this Father’s Day why not try grilling fish?

Here are some ideas for fish that hold up well on the grill and "What’s in it" according to Bon’App:

Mahi-Mahi (per 57 grams)



 






Tuna (per 57 grams)












Swordfish (per 57 grams)




 







Salmon (per 57 grams)












These fish are some low calorie options according to Bon’App!

Not sure how to grill fish?  Here are some tips:
  • Let the grill get hot before you put the fish on.
  • Put some oil on the fish or the grill surface so the fish doesn't stick. We suggest olive oil or sunflower oil because they are good oils for searing and are high in monounsaturated fat.
  • The rule is to cook fish for 8 minutes per inch of thickness or, if its a whole fish, for 10 minutes per inch of thickness.  When it flakes with a fork you know it is done!
