Chicken soup will not only keep you hydrated, but also keep you fuller longer. The lean protein in chicken will help your body fight off infection, while the warm broth will relieve congestion ad keep you warm when you are feeling cold. The broth also helps to restore the fluid you lose when you are sick.
Cottage Cheese
It is important to consume enough protein to help strengthen your body. Since your stomach won't have easy time digesting tough meat like steak, choose easily digestible proteins, such as cottage cheese, to power your muscles.
